Why are there two applications for installing the SmartLog Pro® Web Manager?
Two applications are detailed in the user guide for installing the system components. SLP Control Panel, which utilizes SQLite, is the latest version. It was created because the older SLP Configuration application and Microsoft SQL Compact will no longer be receiving updates. The SLP Configuration instructions are in the user guide for customers that previously installed their system with it, have not updated to SLP Control Panel, and need to move the program (thus requiring re-installation). We also have detailed videos available on this site which cover the installation of the program using either of the applications. Please contact EMIT Customer Service with any questions regarding this topic prior to installing the program.
